AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 12.24.100 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING FLAGSHIP AVENUE
& DANA ROAD TO THE 25 MPH PRIMA FACIA SPEED
LIMIT DESIGNATION
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12.24.100 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"12.24.100 Prima Facie Speed Limit - 25 MPH. The prima
facie speed limit on the following named streets or parts thereof
shall be 25 miles per hour:
Balboa Blvd. from West Coast Highway to Alvarado St.
. Back Bay Dr., from its southerly intersection with
Jamboree Rd., to its northerly intersection with
Jamboree Rd.,
Riverside Ave., from W. Coast Highway to 250 ft. west of
Tustin Ave.,
Newport Hills Dr., east between Ford Rd., and Port
Laureat Place.
Newport Hills Dr., west between Ford Rd., and Port
Hemley Circle.
Vista del Oro from Vista del Sol northerly to Eastbluff
Dr.
Flagship Ave., between Placentia Ave., and Dana Rd.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.

This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport
of January 1983 and was adopted on
