AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 14.24.065 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING SEWER USE
CHARGES.
Section 1. Section 14.24.065 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"14.24.065 Sewer Use Charge. (a) Effective
July 1, 1987, a basic sewer use charge of $3.30 per month, with
proportionate increases for additional units shall be assessed
for each use connection to the public sewer system.
(b) A monthly charge of $1.60 shall be assessed
for each additional living unit served by the same sewer
connection, except that the assessment shall be $0.75 per month
for each hospital or hotel living unit."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in
isthe official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effec-
tive thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 13th
day of April, 1987, and was adopted on the 27th day of April,
1987 by the following vote, to wit:

Maurer, Plummer, Sansone, Strauss, Turner
