• AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 12.44.040 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING PARKING
METER FEES
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. Section 12.44.040 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
1112.44.040 Parking Meter Fees. Fees
for parking meters in zones established
by Section 12.44.020 when the parking
meters are in operation are hereby
established as follows:
(a) Fifty (50) cents per hour for
parking meters on the north-
easterly side of Newport Boulevard
between 21st Street and 26th
Street; on the southwesterly curb
of the northbound lanes of Newport
Boulevard between 26th Street and
30th Street; on Twenty- Second
Street between Newport Boulevard
• and The Arcade; and on the Arcade,
all in Zone Two.
(b) Fifty (50) cents per hour for
parking meters on the south-
westerly side of Newport Boulevard
between 23rd Street and 30th
Street; on Balboa Boulevard
between 22nd Street and 28th
Street; on 28th Street between
Balboa Boulevard and the north-
easterly side of Newport
Boulevard, all in Zone Six.
(c) Seventy -five (75) cents per hour
for parking meters on 23rd Street
between Ocean Front and Balboa
Boulevard; on 22nd Street between
Ocean Front and Balboa Boulevard;
on the southwesterly side of
McFadden Place between 22nd Street
and Ocean Front; on the southerly
end of McFadden Place; on the
easterly side of McFadden Place
between Ocean Front and Court
Street; on the southerly side of
Court Street between 20th Street
and McFadden Place, all in Zone
• Two.
(d) Seventy -five (75) cents per hour
for parking meters on Ocean Front
between McFadden Place and 24th
Street in Zone Four.

(e) Seventy -five (75) cents per hour
for parking meters in Zone One.
(f) Twenty -five (25) cents per hour
for parking meters in the re-
mainder of Zones Two, Four, and
Six and in all other zones.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effec-
tive thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 27th
day of April, 1987, and was adopted on the 11th day of May, 1987
by the following vote, to wit:
