• AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADDING SECTION 12.66.070 TO THE
NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE FOR
APPLICATION OF VEHICLE CODE TO PRIVATE STREETS
IN THE SEA ISLAND DEVELOPMENT.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby
ordain as follows:
Section 1: Section 12.66.070 is added to the Newport
Beach Municipal Code to read as follows:
"Section 12.66.070. Application of Vehicle Code to
Private Roads in the Sea Island Development. The provisions of
the California Vehicle Code shall apply to the following private
streets in the Sea Island residential development in the City of
Newport Beach:
Island Lagoon Drive
Sea Cove Lane
• Ocean Vista
Sea Vista Drive
Seabrook Cove
Bay Cove Lane"
Section 2: This Ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall become
effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
Section 3: This Ordinance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on
the 22nd day of June , 1987, and adopted on the 13th day
of July , 1987, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEMBERS Cox, Hart, Maurer,
Plummer, Sansone, Turner
NOES, COUNCILMEMBERS
ABSENT COUIPLMEMBERS Strauss
