AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SECTION 5.50.050(13)
PERTAINING TO MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENT RECORDINGS.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby
is ordain as follows:
SECTION 1•
follows:
Section 5.50.050(13) is hereby amended to read as
13. Recordings. No electrical, mechanical or artificial
device shall be used by the operator or any employee of the massage
establishment for audio and /or video recording or for monitoring
the performance of a massage, or the conversation or other sounds
in the massage rooms without the knowledge or consent of the
patron.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on
• the 12th day of March, 1990, and adopted on the 26th day of
March , 1990, by the following vote, to -wit:
