• RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the City of New-
port Beach, that all of the said protests and objections against
said proposed work or improvement, and against the extent of the

district to be assessed, and against the proposed change of modifi-
cation of grade be and the same are hereby overruled and denied.
RESOLVED, further that said Board finds that said pro-
tests are made by the owners of less than one —half of the area of
ti:e property to be assessed for said improvement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
passed by the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach at
their regular adjourned meeting thereof held on the S day of
September, 1922, and that the same was passed by the following vote,
to wit:
