RFSOLUTION NO. "
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OFITRUSTFES OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DIRECTING,:GERTAIN WORK OR IMPROVE-
MENT TO BE DONE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE CITY EN-
GINEFR OF SAID CITY.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach, do
resolve as follows:
WHEREiyday Board of Trustees of the City of Newport
Beach did on the of May, 1923, pass a Resolution No. )-3'7
ordering the improvement of certain portions of Coast Boulevard
Place, Coast Boulevard, 29th Street, 36th Street, Finley Avenue and
of a certain alley within said City, under the Improvement Act of
1911;
AND WHEREAS, said Board desires that said work be done
under the direction of the City Engineer;
NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the City of New-
port Beach hereby resolve and direct that the aforesaid work shall
be done under the direction of the City Engineer, and the materials
used shall comply with the specifications and be to the satisfaction
of the City Engineer, instead of the Superintendent of Streets.
Passed by the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport
Beach, this zit day of May, 1923.
