Beachyn the 30th day of July, 1923, completed and delivered to

the Clerk of said city its final report concerning the division
6
of a portion of thecity of Newport Brach into districts, and fix,
7
ed the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m. of Saturday, the 4th day of
8
August, 1923, at the councilchamber of the Board of Trustees of
9
the city of iewport Beach, in the city hall thereof, as the time
10
and place at which all persons particularly interested and the
11
general public would be afforded an opportunity to be heard, and
12
directed notice of h>aring to be given, and designated a news -
13
paper for that purpose;

Whernas, there is no local daily newspaper published
15
in the city of Newport Beach, and notice of hearing specifying
16
the time and place of heering and inviting all persons particular
17
ly interested and the general public to appear at said time and
18
plac> when and where they would be afforded an opportunity to be
19
heard was duly published once in NEWPORT NEWS, q Local newspaper
20
of general circ:lated.printed, published ana circulated in the
21
city of ? ?eeport Beach, and the newspaper designated for that pur
22
pose, the said publication being within the week within which
23
said meeting was to be held;

26 Beach, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m. of Saturday, the 4th .ray

of August, 1923, met and was convened in regular session at the

council chamber thereof in the City Hall of the city of Newport

Beach, and at said time and place an opportunity was afforded to
29
all persons particularly interested and the general public to be
30
heard concerning said final report, and no person appeared to ob
31
32 ject, or did object thereto, or to any part or portion thereof;

Resolved, that the final report of the Board of Trus-
tees of the city of Newport Beach concerning the divisi(;n of a.
portion of said city into districts,completed on the 30th day of
July, 1923, and on said day deposited with the Clerk of said cit ,
be and the same is hereby adopted and approved, and ordered filed
with and in the offica of the Clerk of the city of New?")ort Beech.
Resolved, that an or.linance be introduced,considered,
paced, and published carrying into effect and established as the
law of the city of Newport Beach the conditions and provisions set
forth in said final report.
I hereby certify the foregoing resolution was duly in-
troduced at a regular meetin.- of the Board of Trustees of the cit
of Newport Beach held on the 4th day of August, 1923, and %w s r
considered, designated Resolution No4Z the roll was called
the resolution passed by the affirmative vote of the following
named members of said Board ofTrustees to -wit:
