RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL ATENUE IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to statute the Superintendent of
Streets of the City of Newport Beach made and filed with the
City Clerk of said city on the 23rd day of .August, 1923, his
assessment and diagram for the improvement of a certain portipn
of Central Avenue in said city as described in Resolution of
Intention No. 215 passed by the Board of Trustees of said city
February 5th, 19239 and
WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form
required by law for all interested persons to appear before the
Board of Trustees in the council chamber of the City Hall at the
hour of 7.30 o'clock P. M. of Monday, the 10th day of September,
1923, and show cause why the said Board of Trustees should not
confirm said assessment, and
WHEREAS, all interested persons having appeared before
this Board of Trustees and having been given full opportunity to
show cause why said assessment should not be confirmed and all
objections presented having been heard and fully considered, now
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the City of
Newport Beach as follows:
That no cause has been shown why the said assessment
should not be confirmed.
THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport
Beach does hereby approve and confirm the said assessment, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Streets

of said City of Newport Beach be and he is hereby authorizedAto
attach a warrant to said assessment and record the same

manner and form required by law and thereafter to deliver the

same to the Contractor or *A* assignee.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Aesoi ion
was duly and regularly passed by the Board of Trustees of the City
of Newport Beach on the 10th day of September, 1923, by the following
vote, to -wit:
