RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CENTRAL AVENUE AND CERTAIN
OTHER STREETS AND AVENUES AND OF CERTAIN ALLEYS
IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to statute the Superintendent of
Streets of the City of Newport Beach made and filed with the
City Clerk of said city on the 23rd day of Au&st, 1923, his
assessment and diagram for the improvement of Central Avenue
and certain other streets and avenues and of certain alleys in
said city as described in Resolution of Intention No. 196,
passed by the Board of Trustees of said city on the 7th day of
Au &st, 1923, and
WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form
required by law for all interested persons to appear before the
Board of Trustees in the council chamber of the City Hal]At the
hour of 7.30 o'clock P. Y. of Monday, the 10th day of September,
1923, and show cause why the said Board of Trustees should not
confirm said assessment, and
WHEREAS, all interested persons having appeared before
this Board of Trustees and having been given full opportunity to
show cause why said assessment should not be confirmed and all
objections presented having been heard and fully considered, now
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the City of
Newport Beach as follower
That no cause has been shown why the said assessment
should not be confirmed;
THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport
Beach does hereby approve and confirm the said assessment, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Streets
of said City of Newport Beach be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to attach a warrant to said assessment and record the same
in the manner and form required by law and thereafter to deliver the
same to the Contractor or its assignee.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed by the Board of Trustees of the City
of Newport Beach on the 10th day of September, 1933, by the follow-
ing vote, to -wit:
