.of unpaid assessments, ryas duly given in the manner and form

corded on the 11th day of September, 1923, for the : -iork and
improvcment made by The California Construction Company, under
that certai . contrvct a :•rarded to it on the 7th dal of ".arch,
1y23, on -portions of Central rvenue in said City, and that
said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the
Street Saos rintendert of said City, together with a :rritten
statement of all payments received upon the said assessment,
and after the full expiration of twenty (20) days from the
date of said vierrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made
and ;piled with the City Clerk of the said City of Newport Beach,
a completo list of all assessments unpiad upon the said assess-
ment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Cle k
of the said City, now upon evidence shown this BoCrd determir_es
that the asses_rrnents thereon mentioned were then unpaid, the
total ag-regate thereof, being the sum of Sixty Seven Thousand

unaaid assessments filed as above noted, for the assessments

Council Chamber of the City Hall, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock

cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the
• unpaid assessments shoran on said list, and all objections pre-
sented having been heard and considered,
NOT BE IT RFSOLAFED, that the Bm rd of Trustees does
hereby find and determine that no cause has been shorn °ihy bonds
should not be issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments
and does hereby overrule all objections thereto, and does hereby
direct the issuance of said bonds, and further,
BF- IT 1MSOLVFD AS FOLLOWS, that bonds shall be issued
upon the security of said unpaid assessments to said amount of
Forty Four Thousand Piine Hundred sixty -tyro and 98/100
( 44,962.98 ) Dollars.
The said borY s shall. be sixty (60) in numbcr and
shall be dated October 15th, 1923, and bear interest at the
rate of seven per cent (71) per annum, shall-be known as
Series tQ B ", and the denominations of the said bonds and the
dates of the respective authorities thereof shall be as follows -.

The first coupon of interest shall be or interest from
October 3rd , 1923, to January 2nd, 1925, and the several coupons
thereafter shall beach be for the semi - annual interest, and
BE IT FURTHER RESO;VED, that the signature of the
Treasurer of said City upan the coupons attached to the said
bonds shall be a printed or lithographed signature in place of
a signature by hand, and
B °. IT ALSO FnTH::R RFSOLVED, that the City Clerk of

said City of Newnort Beach, be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to forthwith deliver the bonds hereinabove enumerated
to the Contractor, the California Construction Comiany, in sl-tis-
faction of the balance due it upon its as3essmcnts and warrant.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed bl the Board of Trustees of the City of
Newport Beach, at a regular meeting of said Board, held on
