That the public interest and convenience reeuire and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of A;ewport 1:cach, C£.liiGrnjE:, to order the construction of thefol.1cwing des- crib:d work and improvement in said City, to—wit- That certain portions of the follo-irg streets being graded, paved with concrete pav:n.ent and Pave installed along cer- tain portions thereof granite concrete ornamental lighting posts, conduits, wires a,nd appurtanances fcr the successful operation of an ornamental lighting eystem: (a) 14th Street between Santa Ana Avenue and San Bernar- dim Avenue. (b) Broad Street between Santa Ana Avenue and San Bernardino Avenue. (c) San Bernardino Avenue betvecn Ocean rrive and 14th I treet. (d) Ocean Drive betrftn the Easterly prolongL-.tion cf the Go southerly lire of Lot 10, Block 12, of a ke p of First Addition to 1�erport Heights as recorded in .;,iscellaneous caps Fook 4, Pagt 94, — 1 — 6 a v 4 Records of Orange County, California, and the southwesterly prolongs- • ticn of the southeasterly lire of ,an Rrrnardino fivenue. All of the hereinbefore described streets shall be graded to the official grade in accordance with the plans, rrofiles and cross sections hereinafter referred to. The said glens, profiles, cross— sections, detailed drawings end specifications are hereby referred to for the full and detailed description of said proposed work and improve-rent. SFr,TION 2. That the Board of Trustees also determines and declares that serial bonds bearing interest at the rate of seven T-er cent (7°f) per annum shall be issued to represent each assessri.ent of Twenty — five (ti",25.00) rollars or mere remaining unpaid for twenty days after the date of the. v.arrart: Said serial bonds shell extend over a per- iod ending nine (9) years from the second day of January next suc- ceeding the fifteenth (15th) day of the next Diovember following their date. Payments on the principal of unsaid asccssments and interest 00 shall be czde by property owners to the City Treasurer and the save shall be disbursed by him, all as provided in the said Impro vtment Act of 1911. The Board of Trustees does not deem it advisable that the Clerk u.ail copies of the, notice of improvement to owners or reputed orders and he is not re,pirEd to mail the same. SECTION 6. The Street Superintendent of said City shall, after the adoption of said Fesolution of Intention, cause to br. conspicuously posted along the lin::s of said contemplated work or improverccnt and along all the open streets within the heruinbefore described asscss- ment district, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Inten- tion in the manner and form required by law, SECTION 7.
