AS CONTEMPLATED BY RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
NO. 429.

The City Council of City of Newport Beach do re-
solve as follows:
SECTION I
,b That this Council hereby finds and declares that

responsible bidder for the work hereinafter described, and this
Council hereby awards the contract for.said work to the said

3268 trees of the variety to be planted on the
respective streets provided in the specifications,
and furnish and plant 39 trees and 535 shrubs for
landscape.00nstruotion on the south side of Ocean
Boulevard of the species shown on the specifications,
including the furnishing and placing of all stakes, etc.
all as provided in said specifications, for the sum of

shrubs, plants, grass, etc., including all labor,
supplies, equipment, water, etc., including the
replacement of all trees and shrubs that may be
necessary and required for the first year beginning
from the date of completion and acceptance of the

The work hereinbefore referred to consists of the
furnishing and planting of trsee, shrubs, plants, grass eta.
and the maintenance of said trees, shrubs, plants and grass for a,
period of five (5) years, all as more particularly described in
Resolution of Intention No. 429, as adopted by the Board of
Trustees of said City on the 319t day of May, 1927, and on fil&,V.
in the office of the City Clerk of said City. For further par
ticulare reference is hereby made to said Resolution of Intention
No. 429, and to the report of the City Engineer on file in the,.::.
