HomeMy WebLinkAbout538 - Lease of Certain Real Property1 2 • 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 •• 28 29 30 31 32 ROLAND THOMPSON ATTORNEY AT LAW .ANTA ANA, CALIM RESOLUTION NO. �3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, AUTHORIZING THE LEASE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OF SAID CITY, FIRING THE CONSIDERATION THEREFOR AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID LEASE ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY. WHEREAS, it satisfactorily appearing to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that it would be for the benefit and best interests of said City of Newport Beach, to lease the real property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, it further satisfactorily appearing that said property proposed to be leased as aforesaid, is not now bei used for any purpose whatsoever; and WHEREAS, an adequate and sufficient consideration for said lease, to -wit, the sum of $25.00 per year, has been offered by the Foster and Kleiser Company. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That it would be forthe common benefit and the benefit and best interests of the City of Newport Beach that the following described real property in which the City of Newport Beach has an interest, and situate in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit: 50 feet by 75 feet at the Northeasterly corner of the City property north of the U. S. Government bulk- head line between Station 129 and Station 130, Orange County, California, be leased for the term of one (1) year from and after July 15th, 1929, to Foster and Kleiser Company, for the purpose specified in said lease or contract, and that said lease be executed in duplicate by the Mayor and Clerk of said City of Newport Beach, who are hereby directed to execute said lease in the name of and on behalf of said City. j - 3 1 2 • 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13, 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 ROLANO THOMPSON ATTORNEY AT LAW SANTA ANA, GAUP. 41 .
