RESOLUTION N0. _"11)-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH, ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE PURCHASE OF A CERTAIN ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR THE
CITY PUMPING PLANT.
It appearing to the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach that the present apparatus for pumping at the
City Pumping Plant is inadequate for the needs and uses of the
City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that another motor be
immediately purchased for the use of said pumping plant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE -IT RESOLVED: That the plans
and specifications of R. L. Patterson, for an electric motor
for the City Pumping Plant be, and the same are hereby approved
and adopted as and for the plans and specifications for the
purchase of said electric motor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Clerk give
notice to bidders, inviting bids for the purchase of said
electric motor in accordance with the plans and specifications
herein on file, and as provided by law, and that said notice
be published three (3) times in NEWPORT NEWS, a newspaper
of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in
the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was regularly introduced and passed by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
12th day of November, 1929, by the following vote:
