RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE OITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH GRANTING TO CLYDE PLAVAN A
CERTAIN LEASE OF CERTAIN LAND BELONGING TO THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, FOR CERTAIN SPECIFIED
PURPOSES, FIXING THE RENTAL THEREOF AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY AND THE CLERK OF
SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID LEASE IN THE NAME OF
SAID CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH.
WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions, the City
Attorney of the City of Newport Beach has this day prepared a
lease and presented the same for consideration to the City Counci
of the City of Newport Beach, in which said lease the Oity of
Newport Beach leases to Clyde Pleven that certain real property
situate in the County of Orange, State of California, and more
particularly described and mentioned in the lease referred to,
upon the payment of certain rents and the performance of certain
agreements and covenants of said written lease; and
WHEREAS, it likewise appearing to said City
Council of the said City of Newport Beach that the considerations
for which said lease is given, are in all respects adequate
and sufficient and that the City of Newport Beach has no immediat
need for said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said lease
be and the same is hereby approved as written, by the said City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, and the Mayor of said City
and the City Clerk of said City shall, and they are hereby
authorized to sign said lease in the name of and on behalf of
said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was regularly introduced and passed by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
18th day of November, 1929, by the following vote, to -wit:
