• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DIRECTING CERTAIN
FORK OR IMPROVEMENT TO BE DONE UNDER THE
DIRECTION OF THE CITY ENGINEER OF SAID
CITY.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach do
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, did, on the 2 day of December, 1929, pass
Resolution No. ordering the Improvement of Seville
Avenue and certain other streets and alleys within said
city under "The Improvement Act of 1911" and the amend-
ments to said Act, and
WHEREAS, said Council desires that said work be
done under the direction of the City Engineer.
N0W THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach hereby resolves and directs that the aforesaid
work shall be done under the direction of the City Engineer

and the materials used shall comply with the specifications

and be tot,he satisfaction of the City Engineer, instead of
the Superintendent of Streets.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting
of the City Council held on the _2,-f day of December, 1929,
