• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, FIXING AND ESTABLISH -
ING THE RATE OF INTEREST ON THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH HARBOR IM-
PROVEfiENT BONDS, 1929, ISSUED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE NO.jj
OF SAID CITY, ADOPTED THE
DAY OF 1929,
The city council and board of trustees of the
City.of Newport Beach does resolve, find, declare and
determine as followss
Section 1, . That City of Newport Beach Harbor
Improvement Bonds, 1929, two hundred (200) in number,
dated December 1, 1929, and maturing ten (10) each year
beginning December 1, 1930, to and including December 1,
1949, issued as provided in ordinance No. 3_G f of the
City of Newport Beach, entitled "An Ordinance of the City
of Newport Beach, California, Providing for the Issuance
of Bonds of said City in the Amount of Two hundred thou-
sand dollars ($200,000) for the Acquisition, Construction
and Completion of a Certain Municipal Improvement of the
Municipal Harbor by Deepening and Dredging the Channel
at the Entrance Thereof and by the Acquisition and Con-
struction of Various Groins for the Purpose of Controlling
the Tide and Protecting Jettys and Shore Lands and In-
- • eluding for said purpose the Acquisition of Lands and
Rights of Way in Accordance with and as Authorized by
the Special Election Held in said City on the 22nd day
of October ,1929 ", adopted the Lf _ day
of , 1929, and sold as provided in reso-
lution No. �` of said City, entitled "A Resolution
of the City Council and Board of Trustees of the City of
Newport Beach, California, Declaring Its Intention to
Sell Two' hundred tt pifband. dollars ("200,000) of bonds
.designated as lNewport Beach Harbor Improvement Bonds,
1929+ ", adopted the •.2' day of ,1929,
shall bear interest at the rate of five and one- qugrter
per cent (51%) per dnAum, and in all places on the face
or on the coupons of said bonds where the interest rate
is designated the rate of Si% shall be inserted,
Section 2, The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this resolution and shall cause
the same to be entered in the Book of Resolutions of said
city and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption
thereof in the minutes of the meeting of the said city
council and board of trustees of said city at which the
same is passed and adopted.
