The City Council of the City of Ne•port Beach
do resolve as fellows:-
SECTION 1.
That the plans, profiles, cross- sections and
detailed drawings bubmitted by the City Engineer for the
construction of Rubble mound Groins and Dredging in the
Entrance Channel, numbered Plan No. 365, and the Instructions
to Bidders, General Provisions and Specifications for the
construction of Rubble hound Groins and the dredging of the
Entrance Channel to Newport Bay, be and the same are hereby
adopted as the Plans, Instructions to Bidders, General Pro-
visions and Specifications for doing all W said work herein
described as more particularly shown and described in said
plans and specifications.
SECTION II.
That the City Clerk of said City be and is hereby
directed to publish a notice inviting proposals for the afore-
said work three (3) times in the Newport News, a weekly news-
paper printed, published and circulated within said City and
is hereby designated as that purpose. The notice shall state
that all proposals or bids must be accompanied by a check
payable to the City of Ne-rport Beach, certified by a responsible
bank for an amount which shall not be less than five
(5) per
cent of the aggregate of the bid or proposal; said proposals
