RESOLUTION ON PERMIT TO HAUL, TRUCK
2 AND TRANSPORT OVER NEWPORT BEACH STREETS .

WHEREAS, the United States of America has this day applied

granted to the said

for a permit to haul, truck and transport rock and other materials

employees, agents,
contractors and subcontractors performing the

ment consists in part of conditioning, reconditioning, construct -

ing, reconstructing and extension of the East and West Jetties

in the City of Newport Beach; and

WHEREAS, the city of Newport Beach, by and through its
15
City Council, deems that it is for the best interests of said
16
City that said harbor be improved as contemplated by the said
17
United States of America; and
18
WHEREAS, said permit to haul, truck and transport rock
19
and other materials from the Southern pacific Station aforesaid,
20 to the East Jetty in the city of Newport Beach, over the said
21 public streets of the city of Newport Beach, for the purposes
22 aforesaid, has this day been granted by the city of Newport Beach,
23 by and through its City Council, upon the terms and conditions
24 1 specified in said written permit.
25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said permit to haul
26 truck and transport rock and other materials from the Southern
27 Pacific Station in the city of Newport Beach to the East Jetty in
28 the city of Newport Beach, as above specified, over the city

streets of the city
of Newport Beach,
be and the same is hereby

contractors and subcontractors performing the

work of improvement
herein mentioned,

ill BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk

8 Streets of the city of Newport Beach, from the Southern Pacific
9 Station at 26th Street and Central Avenue in said city, to the
10 East Jetty in the city of Newport Beach.
11 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said written permit be
