1 RESOLUTION NO.
2 RESOLUTION TO PERMIT TO USE CITY PROPERTY
3 WHEREAS, the United States of America hasihis day applie
4 for a license to use city property for the purpose of storing
5 materials and equipment; in connection with the improvement of
6 Newport Harbor by the United States of America, and during the
7 time that said work of improvement shall be in progress; and
8 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach deems that it is
9 for the best interests of said city that said Newport Harbor be
10 improved as contemplated by the United States of America; and
11 WHEREAS, said permit or license to use certain city
12 owned property for the purpose of storing equipment, materials
13 and supplies of every nature,,desoription or kind thereon,
14 necessary or useful, in the prosecution of said work of
15 improvement, in connection with the improvement of Newport Harbor
16 in the city of Newport Beach, has this day been granted by the
17 city of Newport Beach, by and through its City Council, upon the
18 terms and conditions specified in said written permit.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said permit to
20 use city owned property as in said written permit specified, in
21 the city of Newport Beach, by the United States of America, its
22 servants, employees, agents, contractors and suboontraotors
23 performing the work of improvement herein mentioned, at locations
24 as in said permit provided, be and the same is hereby granted
25 to the said United States of America, its servants, employees,
26 agents, contraotors and suboontraotors, upon the terms and
27 condition specified in said written permit.
28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk
29 of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby authorized,
30 direoted and instructed to execute, on behalf of the city of
31 Newport Beach, a written permit granting to the said United State

of America, its employees, servants, agents, contractors and sub -
contractors, performing the work of improvement- herein mentioned,
the right.to use city owned property at the locations in said
written permit specified, in connection with the improvement of
Newport Harbor by the said United States of America, and for such
length of time as said work of improvement shall be in progress.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said written permit be
delivered to the United States, and to its proper authorities,
together with a certified copy of this resolution, by the city
Clerk of the city of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
t e city of Newport Beach at a meeting thereof, held on the
