RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council.of the City of Newport Beach,.a certain agreement
wherein the Southern California Edison Company, Ltd., is referred
to as the "Company" and the City of Newport Beach, a municipal
corporation, is referred to as the "Consumer "; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides in substance that
the Company furnish to the Consumer electric energy, and said
Consumer agrees to take, use and pay to ,-said electric energy
as in said agreement provided; and
WHEREAS, said agreement covers the following items,
Service, Territory, Rate, Minimum Charge, and sets forth the
conditions under which said electric energy is to be furnished;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
agreement be entered into with said Southern California Edison
Company, Ltd.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said Agreement in the name of
and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the city of Newport Beach, at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 3rd day of December, 1934, by the following vote, to —wit:
