RESOLUTION N0.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain consent,
showing that the City of Newport Beach is the owner of certain
portions of Lot 171 in Block 54 of the Irvine Subdivision, in
the County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Records (Maps),
Records of said Orange County; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, acting by and
through the Department of Public Works proposes to construct
a Reinforced Concrete Pipe Culvert with necessary inlets and
supports for the control and confinement of storm waters for
the purpose of protecting State Highway, Road VII - Ora -60 -B,
commonly known as Coast Boulevard and property adjoining thereto;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has consented to
the construction and maintenance of the aforesaid Reinforced
Concrete Pipe Culvert with necessary inlets and anchors and has
granted to the State of California the right and privilege
to construct and maintain the same, with the right and privilege
to the City of Newport Beach to relocate said reinforced concrete
pipe culvert at the expense of said city, upon said lands owned
by said grantor at the following location;

Beginning at Engineer's centerline Station
8 } 90V3, as per map filed in State Highway
Map Book No. 1, page 23 -A in the office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County; thence
from said point of beginning south 15® 38' 30"
West, a distance of 50 feet to the southerly
line of said State Highway; thence south 280
57' 40" West, 205 feet, more or less, to the
U. S. Government Bulkhead line.

directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Consent
in the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and
the Clerk is directed to deliver a duly executed copy thereof
to the Department of Public Words of the State of California.
