RESOLUTION 140.
WHEREASs there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Deed of Easement
dated the 7th day of March, 1938s wherein the Newport ,Harbor
Corporations a California corporation, and the First National
Bank in Santa Ana, a National Banking Association$ grants to the
City of Newport Beach$ a Municipal Corporation, an easement for
alley purposes over a strip of land situate in the County of
Orange, State of California$ described as follows, t0-wit:
(1) The souih erly 3.5 Peet of Lot 20, as shown
on a map of Subdivision of Block Cl, Newport
Bay Tracts recorded in Book 5, Page 25 of
Miscellaneous flaps$ Records of Orange County,
California;
(2) All that portion of Lot 21p as shown on a
Map Of subdivision of Block C, Newport Bay
Tract, recorded in Book 6, Page 25 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California, described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of
said Lot 21; running thence westerly along
the northerly line of said Lot 21$ 9.65
feet to a point; thence southeasterly on a
curve concave to the southwest and a4viz:.g a
radius of 10 feet, through an are distance
of 15.55 feet to a point in the easterly
sine of said Lot 21; thence northerly along
the said easterly line of Lot 21, % distance
of 9.85 feet to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS# the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the beet interest of said City of rewport
Beach that said Deed of Easement be accepted upon the terms
and conditions therein set forth:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of
Newport Beach accepts said Deed of Easement upon the terms and
conditions therein set forths
I hereby CERTIFY that the above and foregoing resolu-
tion was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
