3 WHEREAS, DONALD H. LEBO and CELESTINE M. LEBO,
4 husband and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT

BEACH, the sum of $200.00 for Lot 15 and the Northeasterly one-
6 half of Lot 16, Block 743, Corona del Mar, in the city of Newport
7 Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of
8 Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate
10 price as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
12 Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said City that
13 said property be sold for the said sum of $200.00; and
14 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and
15 adequate and is not disproportionate to the real value of the
16 property above described.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
18 be sold to the said Donald H. Lebo and Celestine M. Lebo, husband
19 and wife for the sum of $200.00, free and clear of all encumbranc
20 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1935 -39, and unpaid
21 improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
22 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the
23 City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and
24 deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon
25 receipt of the consideration above set forth.
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $20.00 be
paid to Gerald W. Ritchie, as and for his commission for the

negotiating of the sale of said real property to Donald H. Lebo

and Celestine M. Lebo, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum
29
30 being a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said
31 sale, and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of
32 Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 2nd day of May, 1936, by the following
