Resolution of the City Council of the city of Newport Beach, in Orange County, California, cancelling all taxes as well assessments levied under and pursuant to the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, against certain goperties purchased from Ralph P. Maskey, under agreement dated May 16th, 1938. On motion of Cu 1p-w (� ,, \ _ a;ze- duly seconded and carried, the following resolution was accepted and adopted. WHEREAS, Ralph P. Maskey and Irene Maskey, his wife, have made and delivered their deed as of the day of May, 1938, to the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation of the 6th class of Orange County, California, pursuant to an agreement made the 16th day of May, 1938, wherein the City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation of the sixth class of Orange County, California, therein designated "Optioner" and Ralph P. Maskey, therein designated "Optionee" which said agree- ment was duly executed, pursuant to resolution by the City Council of the city of Newport Beach on the 16th day of May, 1938; and WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is now the legal owner of the properties hereinafter mentioned, being the properties mentioned in said agreement and in said deed from Ralph P. Maskey and Irene Maskey, his wife, as aforesaid.
