RESOLUTION NO.
Resolution of the City Council of the city of
Newport Beach, in Orange County, California, cancelling all
taxes as well as assessments levied under and pursuant to the
Improvement Bond Act of 1915, against certain properties
purchased from the County of Orange, with the consent of the
Controller of State of the State of California, under the
provisions of Section 3897d of the Political Code of the
State of California;

seconded by 70:f'W_tt , and carried, the follow-
ing resolution was acc pted and adopted.
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is now the legal
owner of the properties hereinafter mentioned, being the
properties mentioned above. That said properties are described
as follows, to wit:
All that certain real property situated in the city of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows, to --wit:
Lot "A ", Block 19, First Addition to Newport Beach
Lot "A ", Block 20, First Addition to Newport Beach
Harbor Portion in Section 34 -6 -10 (Adj to Lot 17
and 18, Block 109, Section "B ")- acreage
Lot "A", Block 53, Ocean Front Tract
Street ends around Lido Isle
Parcel No. 33, Sec. 28 -6 -10
NEly 23 acres in Lot 6 (28 -6 -10) Acreage -now dredgedout
Lot 1, Block 32, Newport Beach Tract

And WHEREAS, all of the properties heretofore
described are now owned by the City of Newport Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That all taxes
and penalties against all the lots heretofore described, be
cancelled, and the Auditor and Tax Collector of the city of
Newport Beach are hereby authorized and directed to cancel all
such taxes and penalties as are now outstanding against the
properties above described.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 6th day of June, 1938, by the following
vote, to -wit:
