RESOLUTION N0./f-� ✓
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Newport Beach did on the 89th day of November, 1935, at a
regular meeting of said Commission, adopt by resolution a oer-
tain map designated "District Map "; and
WHEREAS, said District Map mentioned in the previous
paragraph, together with all matters shown thereon, was made a
part of Ordinance No. 440 of the City of Newport Beach, passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
on the 6th day of January, 1936, as being part of the master
plea of the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, said District Map heretofore mentioned is on
file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach
and reference thereto is made hereby for further partioulars; and
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of
Newport Beach did pursuant to advertising, postcard notice to
adjoining owners and public hears, all as required by law,
recommend to the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
by Resolution No. / 31 of the Planning Commission of the
city of Newport Beach, that said District Dap heretofore referred
to be amended in a manner to show that the property hereinafter
described be shown on said map as being in a 0 -1 district rather
than in an R -1 district as now shown by said district map afore-
said, and that the hereinafter described property be re -zoned
from an R -1 District to a C -1 District. The property herein
referred to is all that certain real property situated in the
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
and is more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
All that portion of Lot "A ", Tract 9199 as shown upon
a map recorded in Book 89, pages 31 to 34 inclusive, of
Miscellaneous Maps„ Records of Orange County, California,
described as follows, to -wit:

Beginning at a point in the southeasterly line of
San Bernardino Avenue, said point of beginning being 30 feet
northeasterly of the northeasterly line of the California
State Highway 80 feet in width, as said San Bernardino Avenue
and said State Highway are laid out and shown upon said map
of Traot 919; running thence North 380 59r 300 East along
the southeasterly line of said San Bernardino Avenue 450.75
feet; thence South 470 15' 30" East 530.90 feet to the
beginning of a curve to the left; thence southeasterly along
a curve concave to the northeast with a radius of 530 feet, a
distance of 97.12 feet to a point in the southeasterly line
of that certain parcel of land conveyed to the City of Newport
Beach by deed, recorded in Book 937, page 331, of Offioial
Records of Orange County, California; thence south 390 43t 30"
West 318.18 feet to a point in the northeasterly line of the
existing State Highway 100 feet in width; thence north 610
OOt 300 hest along the last mentioned northeasterly line of
the State Highway 542.64 feet to the point of beginning.
And WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport
Beach did, pursuant to law, and said Ordinance No. 440 aforesaid,
and the recommendation of said Planning Commission of the city
of Newport Beach as aforesaid, call a public hearing on the
question of changing said property heretofore described, from
an R -1 district to a 0 -1 district, as now shown by said district
map aforesaid; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach did, at a public hearing, held on the 4th day of July,
1938, determine by resolution that said real property heretofore
described should be changed on said district map aforesaid, from
an R•-1 district to a 0.1 district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said real
property situated in the County of Orange, State of California,
and heretofore described be shown on said district map as being
in a C••1 District; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said map heretofore
prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach and
designated "Supplement No. 3 to District Map be, and the same
is hereby approved, and that said Supplement No. 3 to District
Map and all matters shown thereon be, and the same are hereby

made a part of Ordinance No, 440 of the City of Newport Beach,
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach on January 6th, 19369 as being part of the master plan
of the City of Newport Beach; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said Supplement No. 3
to the District Map shall be and constitute an amendment to said
District Map and as said district map shall have been so amended,
the same shall remain in full force and effect and part of said
Ordinance No. 440 of the City of Newport Beach and amendments
thereto.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the city cf Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 4th day of July, 1938, by the following vote, to -wit:
