RESOLUTION NO. ALI .
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING MEMO-
RANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF
1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS
OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE.
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its
Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, has pre-
sented a memorandum of agreement in accordance with a project
statement submitted by the City for expenditure of the 1/4
cent gas tax for the fiscal year 1939 allocated for Streets
of Mayor Importance other than State highways in the City
of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agree-
ment in full and is familiar with the contents thereof,
and desires to approve the same;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
18 the City of Newport Beach that said agreement for expenditure
19 of 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for Streets of Major Importance
20 other than State highways be and the same is hereby approved
21 and the ]Mayor and City Clerk are directed to sign the same
22 1 on behalf of said City.
