RESOLUTION NO. 13804
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, TO FILE AN APPLICATION
TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THROUGH THE FEDERAL
EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR A LOAN
AND GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
OCEAN FRONT IMPROVEMENTS AT BALBOA INCLUDING STREET
IMPROVEMENTS, AUTO PARK AND COMFORT STATIONS, AND
DESIGNATING THE CITY ENGINEER TO FURNISH SUCH INFOR-
MATION AS THE GOVERNMENT MAY REQUEST.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Newport Beach, Calif-
ornia:
SECTION 1. That Harry H. Williamson, Mayor, be and he is
authorized to execute and file an application on behalf of the
City of Newport Beach to the United States of America for a loan
and grant to aid in financing the construction of Ocean Front
Improvements at Balboa including Street Improvements, Auto
Park and Comfort Stations.
SECTION 2, That Richard L. Patterson, Citt Engineer, be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such informa
tion as the United States of America through the Federal Emer-
gency Administration of Public Works may reasonably request in
connection with the application which is herein authorized to be
filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, California, at a regular adjourned meeting there-
of, held on the 15th day of August, 1938, by the following vote,
