A certain deed dated the 6th day of August, 1938, from
E. Z. Montgomery and Mary J. Montgomery, husband and wife, to the
City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation of the sixth class
of Orange County, California, granting to said city of Newport Be
all that certain real property situated in the city of Newport
Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more particular
described as follows:
That portion of Lot 2 in Block "R" of Tract No. 323, as
per map recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder
of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a pointin the Coast Boulevard, Street line,
said point being located a distance of 195 feet in a
northerly direction along said street line from the
Southerly corner of Lot 5 in Block "R" of said Tract No.
323, said Southerly corner being the intersection of Coast
Boulevard and Marguerite Avenue; thence in a Northerly
direction along the Coast Boulevard Street line a distance
of 25 feet; thence in an Easterly direction along a line
parallel with the northerly line of said Lot 2 to a point
in the rear lot line of said Lot 2; thence Southeasterly
and southwesterly along the rear lot line of Lot 2 to a
point of intersection with a line drawn from the point of
beginning Northeasterly and parallel with the Northerly
line of said dot 2; thence southwesterly to the point
of beginning.
Subject to reservations, restrictions, assessments and
liens of record.
Subject to an easement for State highway purposes.
was presented to the City Council of the city of Newport Beach,
California.
WHEREUPON, Councilman V_kp,hG C-1 _ made a
motion, duly seconded by Councilman Un V2Aan, and
I
carried, that said Grant Deed be accepted by the City of Newport
Beach, and that the City Clerk be instructed to record the same
forthwith with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
