RESOLUTION 140. 5 2
WHEREAS, a certain corporation grant deed dated the
day of , 1938, from the City of Newport Beach
a Municipal corporation of the sixth class of Orange County,
California, to Ester Mack, a widow, granting to said Ester Mack
all that certain real property situated in the City of Newport
Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more particularl
described as follows, to -wit:
Lot 22 in Block 437 of Corona Del Mar, as per
map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County.
Subject to easements, reservations and restrictions
of record,
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the said City Council of the City of Newport
Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said city that
said property be deeded to the said Ester Mack, for the consider-
ation therein set forth, and other valuable considerations,
including the widening of Highway No. 101 through that portion of
the city of Newport Beach known as Corona Del Mar.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby instructed to execute said Grant
Deed in the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach,
and the City Clerk is instructed to deliver the same to Ester
Mack, Grantee therein named.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopt d by the City Council of
