CALIFORNIA Az RESOLUTION NO. _ WHEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated the 28th day of July, 1938, from LILLIAN R. BRAT ?SCOLB, a married woman, who acquired title as Lillian R. Branscom, a married woman, as her separate property, to the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation of the sixth class of Orange County, California, granting to said City of Newport Beach all that certain real grope: ty situated in the city of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit: That portion of Lot 2 in Block "S" of Tract No. 323, as per map recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as: Beginning at the most Westerly corner of said lot; thence southeasterly along the southwesterly line of said lot, 40 feet; thence Northeasterly, parallel with the northwesterly line of said lot, to the North- easterly line thereof; thence Northwesterly along said Northeasterly line, 40 feet, more or less, to the most northerly corner of said Lot 2; thence south= westerly along the said northwesterly line of said lot, to the point of beginning. Subject to reservations, restrictions, assessments and liens of record. was presented to the City Council of the city of Newport Beach, California; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said deed be accepted upon the terms and conditions therein set forth, and other valuable considerations, including the widening of Highway No. 101 through that portion of the City of Newport Beach known as Corona del Mar.
