WHEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated the 6th day of September, 1938, from William D. Tiller, a married man, as his separate property, to the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation of the sixth class, granting to said City of Newport Beach all that certain real property situated in the city of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as follows, to —wit: Lot 2 in Block "Oil of Tract No. 323, as per map recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of Mis- cellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County. Subject to all easements, reservations, restrictions and assessments of record. was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said deed be accepted upon the terms and conditions therein set forth, and other valuable considerations, including the widening of Highway No. 101 through that portion of the city of Newport Beach known as Corona Del Mar. NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said Grant Deed be accepted by the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be instructed to record the same forthwith with the County Reco of Orange County, California.
