RESOLUTION NO. o
WHEREAS, a certain Corporation Grant Deed dated the
day of December, 1938, from the City of Newport Beach,
a municipal corporation of the sixth class of the State of
California, granting to FREDERICK E. PERNOT, all that certain
real property situated in the City of Newport Neach, County of
Orange, State of California, and more particularly described
as follows, to -wit:
That portion of Lot 3 in Block 'IN" of Tract No. 323,
as per map recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County, described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of said Lot
3, distant thereon, S. 150 241 E., 10 feet from the North-
westerly corner of said lot; thence along said Westerly
line S. 150 20 E., a distance of 20 feet; thence North-
easterly along a line parallel with the northerly line of
said Lot, 74.74 feet to a point on the easterly line of
said lot; thence northwesterly along said easterly line,
1.09 feet to an angle point therein; thence northeasterly
along a southeasterly line of said lot, to a line drawn
parallel with the said northerly line of said lot and passing
through the said point of beginning; thence Southwesterly
along said last mentioned parallel line 101.45 feet to the
point of beginning.
Subject to reservations, restrictions and easements of
record.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
property be granted to said Grantee upon the terms and conditions
therein set forth, and other valuable considerations, including
the widening of Highway No. 101 through that portion of the
City of Newport Beach known as Corona del Mar.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Grant Deed

1 in the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and
2 that the City Clerk deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the
3 Grantee therein named.

5 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
6 Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
7 City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting
8 thereof held on the 5th day of December, 1938, by the following
