WHEREAS, HARRY K. YOUNG and HELEN J. YOUNG, husband and

wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum
It 4 of $325.00 for Lot 20, Block 333, Corona del Mar, in the City of
5
Newport Beach, asEhown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and
6
42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; a:

WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price

i as and for the purchase price of said lot; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
11
property be sold for the said sum of $325.00; and
12
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
13
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
14
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
16
sold to the said Harry K. Young and Helen J. Young, husband and
17
wife, for the sum of $325.00, free and clear of all encumbrances,
18
19 subject to the second half of the taxes for the fiscal year 1942—
20 43 and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Alsib subject to
conditions, restrictions and reservations Bf record. The Mayor
21
22 and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon
23
24 receipt of the consideration above set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $81.25 be paid
25
26 to Ralph P. Maskey, as and for his commission for the negotiating
27 of the sale of said real property to Harry K. Young and Helen J.
28 Young, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
29 reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
30 (being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
the let day of February, 1943, by the following vote, to -wit:
