RESOLUTION NOZ

WHEREAS, RUSSELL S. HAMPTON and ELSIE S. HAMPTON, husband
3
and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
4
sum of 42 .00 for Lots 19 and 21, Block 639,
5 Corona del Mar, in
5
Ithe
City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3,
6
pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
7
California; and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9
as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $425.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17
sold to the said Russell S. Hampton and Elsie S. Hampton, husband
18
and wife, for the sum of $425.00, free and clear of all encumbrance,,
19
subject to the second half of the taxes for the fiscal year 1942-
20
43, and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to
21
conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
22
andthe City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
23
and deliver a deed for said g operty to the said parties upon
24
receipt of the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $106.25 be paid
26
to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiating of
27
the sale of said real property to Russell S. Hampton and Elsie S.
28
Hampton, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
29
reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
30
being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
5th day of April, 1943, by the following vote, to -wit:
