RESOLUTION N0.
WHEREAS, it appearing by the statement of J. A. Gant,
City Auditor of the city of Newport Beach, that the property
described as being Lot 9 in Block 340, Canal Section, City of
Newport Beach, belongs to the City of Newport Beach, and that
the fee title thereto is now in the city of Newport Beach; and
IMEREAS, it likewise appearing that said J.A. Gant
has requested that the City of Newport Beach order the taxes
cancelled on the assessment rolls of the city of Newport Beach,
on the property herein mentioned; and
WHEREAS, it further appearing that the title to said
property is now in the city of Newport Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City
Auditor and Tax Collector of the city of Newport Beach be, and
they are hereby authorized, directed and instructed to cancel
all of said taxes on the real property heretofore described, on
the assessment rolls of the city of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
(duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
3rd day of May, 1943, by the following vote, to —wit:
