If 2 WHEREAS, RALPH JOHNSON and LAVINNIA JOHNSON, husband 3 and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the 4 • 5 sum of $275.00 for Lot 13, Block 735, Corona del Mar, in the City 6 of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 7 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California and 8 9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price 10 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach 11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said 12 13 property be sold for the said sum of $275.00; and 14 WHEREAS, the price offered is Just, fair and adequate 15 and is not disproportionate to the real Value of the property above described. 16 17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be 18 sold to the said Ralph Johnson and Lavinnia Johnson, husband and 19 wife, for the sum of $275.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, ZO subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943-44. Also subject to 21 conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor 22 and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute 23 and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon 24 receipt of the consideration above set forth. 25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $65.75 be paid 26 to Ralph P.
