RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain deed dated the
25th day of May, 1943, wherein Ralph P. Maskey and Irene Maskey,
his wife, grant to the City of Newport Beach all that certain
real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as
follows, to -wit:
The Southeasterly 30 feet of Lots 21, 22, 23
and 24 in Block 134 "Lake Tract ", as shown on
a map recorded in Book 4, page 13 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
WHEREUPON, Councilman �%`al1_; `� made
a motion, duly seconded by Councilman
and carried, that said Grant Deed be accepted by said city of
Newport Beach, and the Clerk instructed to record the same
forthwith with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
That said motion was carried by the following vote,
to -wit:

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true
extract from the minutes of the City Council of the city of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th; day

I, RICHARD L. PATTERSON, do hereby certify that
I am the Street Superintendent of the City of Newport
Beach, that pursuant to Resolution No. 2796, of the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach, I caused
to be posted notices as required by said Resolution,
which said notices were conspicuously posted in front
of all the property on which, or in front of which,
the nuisance described in said Resolution exists,
which said notices were not more than one hundred
(100) feet in distance apart and that there were
more than three (3) notices in all, a copy of which
notices so posted is attached hereto, and made a
part hereof; that said notices were posted at least
five (5) days prior to the time for hearing objections
and protests by the City Council of said City, all
of which notices were posted on or before the 28th day
of June, 1943.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand
as the Street Superintendent this 21st day of August,
1943.
