WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City

Council of the 0it- of Yewport Beach a certain agreement dated the

6th day of July, 1943, betreen the City of Xer^port Beach, therein
5
referred to as the "City ", and J. S. Barrett, therein referred to
6
as the "Contractor "; and

XSERBAS, said wgreement provides that the City has awarded
8
to the Contractor the contract for the furnishing of all required
9
labor, taatexials, except as in said agreement specified, 9tuipment
10
and transportation for the construction of ee. ^itary sewers and
11
other irork incidental thereto along; Central Avenue and Lafayette
12
Avenue, in the city of Yewport Beach, for the price set Berth
13
in Contractor's proposal on file in the office of the City Clerk;
14
Ant? MREAS, said agreement specifically Pets forth the
15
terms, conditions and price for the doing of said work; and
16
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of p?a roort Beach
17
deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said

contract be a °ecuted and that the work therein specified be done
19
by the Contractor upon the terms and conditions therein specified.

authorized and instructed to exeouta said agreement on behalf of

the City of NeF +port Beach, and that a duly executed copy i'iereof be

delivered by the City Clerk to the Contractor.
