RESOLUTION ii0. Air-
WHEREAS, it appearing by the statement of J. A. Gant,
City Auditor of the city of Newport Beech that the property
described as all that certain real property situated in the
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
and more particularly described as :)lloss;
PARCEL 1 Lote 1, 2 and 3 in Block 637, of "Canal
Section, Newport Beach ", as shogrn on a
Pap recorded in Book 4, page 98 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
PARCF._L2 Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of
Lot 1, in Block 637, of "Canal. Section,
Newport Beach ", ae shown on a Map recorded in Book
4, page 98 of Iliscellaneous '.flaps, Records of Orange
County, California; thence Northeasterly along the
Northeasterly extension of the Southeasterly line
of said Lot 1, to the line of Ordinary high tide
of the Pacific Ocean in Newport Bay, designated
"South Line ", as described in Decree of the Superior
Court of the State of California, in and for the
County of Orange, a certified copy of which was
recorded September 19th, 1928, in Book 201, page 253,
of Official Records; thence Easterly along said high
tide line to an intersection with the Northerly
extension of the Westerly line of Lot 3 in said Block
637; thence southerly along said extended line to
the Northwesterly corner of said Lot 3; thence
Easterly along the Northerly lines of Lots 3, 2 and
1 in said Block 637 to the point of beginning.
heretofore belonged to the City of Newport Beach and was
carried on the books of said city as the property of the city
of Newport Beach, and that the city has disposed of all its
right, title and interest in said property, free and clear
of all taxes; and
W.REREAS, it likewise appearing thet said J. A. Gant
has requested that the city of Newport Beach order the taxes
cancelled on the assessment rolls of the city of Neurport Beach
on the property herein mentioned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Auditor
and Tax Collector of the city of Newport Beach be, and they

are hereby authorized, directed and instructed to cancel all
of said taxes on the real property heretofore described, on
the assessment rolls of the city of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting
of the city council held on the 6th day of July, 1943,
by the following vote, to -wit:
