3 WHEREAS, CHARLES H. PARKER, a single man, has this day
offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $225.00 for Lot

5 15, Block 640, Corona del Max, in the City of Newport Beach, as
6
shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellar-
7 eous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
8 WHEREAA, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10 I WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of 0225.00; and
13 WHEREAS, the price offered is Just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 above described.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17 sold to the said Charles H. Parker, a single man, for the gum of
free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes
18 1225.00,
19 for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Also subject to conditions, restr!.ct•
20 ions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are
21 hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed for
22 said property to the said party upon receipt of the consideration
G3 above set forth.
24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $56.25 be paid
25 to A. J. Twist, as and for his commission for the negotiating of
26 the sale of said real property to Charles H. Parker, a single man,
27 as his separate property, said sum being a fair and reasonable
28 commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being a
29 licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
• 30 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
31 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
32 the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held. on
1 the 2nd day of August, 1943, by the following vote, to -wit:
