3 WHF;RFAS, LELAND L. BEELER and VIRGINIA L. BEELER,
4 husband and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT
5 BEACH, the sum of $550.00 for Lots 10 and 12, Block 6399 Corona
6 del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded
7 in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
8 Orange County, California; and
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 I as and for the purchase price of sam lots; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said.
13 property be som for the said sum of 8550.00; and
14 WHEREAS, the price offered is gust, fair and adequate
15 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
16 above described.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED- That said property be
18 sold to the said Leland L. Beeler and Virginia L. Beeler, husband
19 and wife, for the sum of $550.00, free and clear of all encumbran-
20 ces, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Also
21 subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record.
22 The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and. directed.
23 to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the said
24 parties upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of 4137.50 be paid
26 to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiating
27 of the sale of said real property to Leland L. Beeler and
28 Virginia L. Beeler, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a
29 fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and
• 30 said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
31 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
32 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of

2 the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
3 the 2nd day of August, 1943, by the following vote, to-wit:
