A RESOLUTION DEDICATIAG CERTAIN LANDS
OWNED BY TiM CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, FOR STREET PURPOSES AND
NAciING 'Ttis; SAME CE14TRAL AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, as follows:
That the hereinafter described real property
owned by the said City of Newport Beach is hereby
dedicated as and for street purposes and the same is
to be known as and is hereby named CENTRAL AVENUE:
(a) All that portion of the Southern
Pacific Railroad Company 100 foot right of way, as
described in a deed from the Southern Pacific Railroad
Company to the City of Newport Beach, recorded November
20th 1935, in Book 792, Page 25 of Official Records,
Orange County,California, extending between the line of
ordinary high tide of the Pacific Ocean in Newport Bay
and designated "South Line" as established by the decree
rendered in the action entitled nCity of Newport Beach.
Plaintiff, versus Southern Pacific Railroad Company,
et al., Defendants, Case No. 23686, Superior Court of
Orange County, California, a certified copy of which
decree was recorded September 19th, 1928, in Book 201,
Page 253 of Official records, of said County, and the
northwesterly line of Lot 25 of Subdivision of Block
227, Section "All, Newport Beach, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 4, Page 36 of Miscellaneous maps,
Records of said County;

(b) All that )ortion of the Pacific Electric
Railway Company's right of way, as acquired by the said
City through condemnation proceedings in that certain
action entitled "City of Newport Beach, Plaintiff,
versus Pacific Electric Railway Company, et al., Defend-
ants, Superior Court Case No. 40198, Orange County,
California. Final Judgment entered November 16th, 19422
in Book 41 at Page 373 of Judgments, and extending
between McFadden Place and "B" Street in said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting
thereof held this day of September, 1943, by the
following vote, to -grit:

I HEREBY C E R T I F Y that the above and fore-
