WHEREAS, HAZEL S. FELKER, an unmarried woman, has this

day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $225.00 for
5
Lot 11, Block 536, Corona ael Mar, in the City of Newport Beach,
6
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 ana 42 of Miscell-
7
aneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9
as and for the purchase price of said lot; ana
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sola for the said sum of $225.00; ana
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above aescribea.

NOW, THE REFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17
sola to the said Hazel S. Felker, an unmarried,woman, as her
18
separate property, for the sum of $225.00, free and clear of all
19
encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44.

Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of
21
record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized aryl
22
and directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property to
23
the said party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $56.25 be paid
25
to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiating
26
of the sale of said real property to Hazel S. Felker, an unmarried
27
woman, as her separate property, said sum being a fair ana
28
reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale and said broker
29
being a licensed reikltor of the City of Newport Beach.
