WHEREAS, EDWARD H. MAYO and FRANCES ALICE MAYO, husband
3
and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
4
sum of $350.00 for Lots 34 and 35, Block 431, Lancaster Addition,
5
in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5,
6
page 14 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California
7
and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as
9
and for the purchase price of said lots; and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $350.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportunate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17
sold to the said Edward H. Mayo and Frances Alice Mayo, husband
18
19 and wife, for the sum of $350.00, free and clear of all encumbrance ,
20 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Also subject to
conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
21
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
22
23 and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon
receiptof the consideration above set forth.

25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $35.00 be paid
26 to Ralph P. Naskey, as and for his commission for the negotiating
27 of the sale of said real property to Edward H. Mayo and Frances
28 Alice Mayo, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
29 reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
.
30 being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
31 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
32 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of

2 the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
3 the 7th day of September, 1943, by the following vote, to -wit:
