WHEREAS, JACK W. MILNE and KATHERINE MILNE, husband and

wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum
of $325.00 for Lot 6, Block 60, Ocean Front Tract, in the City of
5
Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 12 of
6
Miscellaneous Maps, recordsof Orange County, California; and
7
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as
8
and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
11
property be sold for the said sum of $325.00; and
12
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
13
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
14
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
16

sold to the said Jack W. Milne and Katherine Milne, husband and
18
wife, for the sum of $325.00, free and clear of all encumbrances,
19
subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Also subject to
20
conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and
21
the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed
22
for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the consider -
23
ation above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $50.00 be paid
25
to C. F. Denn.ison, as and for his commission for the negotiating
26
of the sale of said real property to Jack W. Milne and Katherine
27
Milne, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
28
reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
29
being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
31
was duly and re @alarly passed and adopted by the City Council of
