WHEREAS, SILAS T. LINDBERG and VIOLA LINDBERG, husband

•and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
4
sum of $1050.00 for Lots 27, 28 and 29, Block 16, Section B, in
5
the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4,
6
7 page 27 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
and
8
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as
10 and for the purchase price of said lots; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
13 1 property be sold for the said sum of $1050.00; and
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
15 and is not disproportunate to the real value of the property
above described.

17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18 sold to the said Silas T. Lindberg and Viola Lindberg, husband
19 and wife, for the sum of $1050.00, free and clearof all encumbrance 3,
20 subject to the taxes for thefiscal year 1943 -44. Also subject to
21 conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
22 and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
23 and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon
24 receipt of the consideration above set forth.
25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of 0105.00 be paid
26 to H. M. Lane, as and for his commission for the negotiating
27 of the sale of said real property to Silas T. Lindberg and Viola
28 Lindberg, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
29 reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
30 being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
