3 WHEREAS, WALTER LEEMING and BEATRICE A. LEEMING, husband
4 and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT EEACH,
5 the sum of $300.00 for Lot 6, Block 635, Corona del Mar, in the
6 City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3,
7 pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
8 California; and

WHEREAS, the said priceis a fair and adequate price as
10
and for the purchase price of said lot; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said

property be sold for the said sum of $300.00; and

14 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
15 and is not disproportionate to the real wlue of theproperty above
16 described.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18 sold to the said Walter Leeming and Beatrice A. Leeming, husband
19 and wife, for the sum of $300.00, free and clear of all encumbrance,
20 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Also subject
21 to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
22 and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
23 and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon
24 receipt of the consideration above set forth. t
25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That the sum of $50.00 be paid
26 to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiating
27 of the sale of said.real property to Walter Leeming and Beatrice
28 ` A. Leeming, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
29 reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
30 being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
31 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
32 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of

the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 7th day of September, 1943, by the following vote, to -wit:
